Fitting In

This is the bike rack in my building. The hooks are needlessly high on the wall. I would venture that many people in the building would struggle to hang a bike here.

For the purpose of this photo, I asked Kristin to pose as if she were taking the bike down. I did not ask her to risk injury by actually trying to take it off the wall.

In my experience this is a good place to keep
your bike if you are:

A: Very tall and very strong
or B: Looking for an excuse to never ride it.

This is me hunched over the sink.
My back gets stiff from working like this.
I think that most typical kitchen counters are
designed for shorter people. Unfair!

This is Gabriel, may partner, unable to reach things that I've put on the top shelf. A good hiding place for treats.

The hot water nozzle at the self serve beverage machine in the deli across from FIT on 7th Ave. It is mounted low on the machine and does not allow enough space to get a large cup under it.

I notice that coffee drinkers have no such disadvantage.

Here is Gabriel with his phone. You know what they say about big hands? Texting typos.

Some people fit in anywhere. My daughter, Grace.
